On this anniversary of my departure from Seattle one year ago, I'm honoring the beautiful, generous souls who opened their homes up to me and my traveling companions. A BIG thanks of appreciation to ALL of you! You gave me so many gifts of space, laughter, friendship, wisdom, food, advice, connections, celebration, warmth, comfort, a feeling of family and of course, LOVE. I will always cherish the memories of the times I shared your home and the ways in which you polished my heart with lessons of patience, acceptance and presence. I especially appreciate your trust and deep, deep support of my nomadic journey. Sending you all BIG, BIG virtual hugs...may you all be blessed with a thousand fold what you gave me.
Salinas, CA (Where I first learned to live in community.)
Candler, NC (Where I learned lots about sustainable living.)
Morristown, NJ (Where I learned to make really a good fire in the wood stove!)
Jonesboro, AK (Where I was reminded what matters most.)
Charlotte, NC (Where I fell in love again with warm summer nights.)
Of course, there are other gracious hosts to thank as well including my work exchange host, Vivienne, some AirBnB and regular B & B hosts, Rumi, my sweet, little RV that carried me from San Diego, CA to Boulder, CO and finally, my current host, The Abode of the Message in New Lebanon, NY.
I bow to you all with gratitude and thanks for being part of the journey!
