This activity is really simple and lots of fun! All you need is a small tennis ball sized ball and a group of people, preferably sitting in a circle. The first person starts by telling a story. The story can have a theme, be a fiction or non-fiction story or something totally free form. When the first person is finished with his/her part of the story, he/she throws the ball to anyone in the group. This person continues the story and then throws the ball to the next person and so on.

The story usually ends up going in places that no one expects and often becomes quite absurd and ridiculous the longer the story goes on. Eventually, the energy for the story begins to fade and the story comes to a natural end.

This is a great activity for parties, Meetup groups, friends, families, etc. because it warms everyone up and allows people to bond in a non-threatening way.
